Maybe, maybe not. Currently, the primary objectives are learning and real-world impact. Some products could potentially generate revenue, but the community hasn't decided whether this is important or how finances would be handled. Potentially, some or all revenue could be funneled back into this open-source movement as an NGO.
Open question — the community is still figuring this out. Pull requests and discussion are welcome!
